The Beijing Olympics are only weeks away! As the opening ceremony draws closer there are many tourists from around the world preparing to get-away to China to experience this exciting event. In preparation for the upcoming summer Olympics the television show Getaway is going to air a special edition of ‘Getaway China’. This show will educate and entertain the audience of potential travellers about China and the upcoming Olympic Games
.
To start off you will need to research a range of information about China and complete your research booklet.
Then you will need to work in a small group (3-4 members) to plan and prepare the "Getaway China" show. Each member will present one segment of the show.
To complete this television production you will need to take on a number of important roles.
RESEARCHER-
Firstly, you will need to independently research all of the areas to be covered in the show and complete the booklet.SCRIPT WRITER- You will then need to write and prepare your segment of the television show.
PRODUCER- Practice your presentation individually and as a group.
TV STAR!- Present ‘Getaway China’ to your peers.
